Makes up a necessary addition to KETHEA 's efforts in promoting scientific knowledge. KETHEA supplements Greek literature on this subject through original texts and the adaptation of key publications from abroad.
· “Exartisis”(http://www.exartiseis.gr)
The first Greek scientific journal on addiction issues. "Exartisis" is a bi-annual journal. It is published by the Therapy Centre for Dependent Individuals (KETHEA) in cooperation with the journal Addiction (Blackwell Publishing/Addiction Press) which is among the most reliable international scientific publications in the field of addiction. "Exartisis" publishes original Greek articles based on primary research; translations of recent articles; articles under publication; articles and abstracts from the "Addiction" as well as news and events pertaining to drug addiction issues. Exartisis is a member journal of the Ιnternational Society of Addiction Journals Editors - (ISAJE) and has adopted the Farmington Consensus.
· “European Conference on Rehabilitation and Drug policy”
Proceedings of the 10th European Conference on Rehabilitation and Drug policy, organized by KETHEA in Crete in 2005
· "Know Thyself"
The minutes of the 13th World Congress of Therapeutic Communities organised by KETHEA in Athens in 1990 (in English). "Europe in transition - Therapeutic Communities in transition".
· "Europe against Drugs"
The minutes of the 2nd European Congress entitled "Europe against Drugs",
organised by the Centre in 1995 in Thessaloniki (available in Greek and English).
· "Skills for the Primary School Child"
Greek language adaptation of the publication by the British organisation "TACADE" titled "Skills for the Primary School Child". It recommends a complete programme for the prevention of behavior capable of harming the mental or physical health of a child. It is aimed at students, parents and primary-school teachers. Athens 1999.
· "Counselling in the field of drug addiction: Knowledge, skills, attitude in professional ractice".
This was published within the framework of the educational programme on the above subject for professionals, arranged by KETHEA in co-operation with the Psychiatry Department of the University of California at San Diego. It deals with the attitude, knowledge and skills required for the consummate professional in the field of treatment and prevention of drug addiction. Athens 2000.
· "Health education - Interpersonal relationships (ages 11 to 14)"
This publication, directed at primary and secondary school teachers, suggests a number of activities that can be applied in the classroom in order to promote mental health and strengthen students' interpersonal skills. It is available in a printed and electronic format, as well as on CD-rom. It was written by KETHEA in co-operation with the Association for the Socio-psychological Health of the Child and the Adolescent at the request of the Ministry of Education and Religion, Athens 2000.
· "The evaluation of drug-addiction therapy organisations: policy and applications"
This was published in co-operation with the Association of Social Workers of Greece and encompasses one of the most important areas of concern for treatment and prevention organisations today.
· "Drug Education for Young Offenders", is a translation and adaptation of a TACADE publication with the same title. It is directed at professionals who work with adolescent drug users who do not conform to the law.
· Since 2002 KETHEA has been publishing the first-ever Greek scientific journal on dependence problems, entitled “Exartisis” (meaning addictions).
· Socio - demographic characteristίcs and patterns οf use of individuals who contacted KETHEA's Counselling Centres between 1995 and 2002. Comparatίve Study Across 8 Years.
· “EFTC Newsletter” Published twice a year in English. Distributed gratis to the members and collaborators of the European Federation of Therapeutic Communities (EFTC) throughout Europe as well as to governmental and independents agents dealing with the problem of addiction.
